"From the beginning, ZZZ Bears has focused on giving back to the community, and our military families, specifically children who have lost a parent as a result of their service, have been the beneficiaries," said Bonnie Carroll, Founder and President of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), which has provided support to more than 70,000 grieving family members who have lost a loved one in the military. "Each month, they send bears to our youngest survivors, some of whom experience sleep disturbances as a result of their loss. Each bear comes with a handwritten note and helps our TAPS kids to experience care and comfort in a tangible way as they work through grief."
